I’m in the minority, but I love Out of My Hands. Mostly because of Tim, Carter and Fonz live, though.

Since I don't know much about flutes, can anyone tell me of the flute Malta plays is "special" or something?
I have never seen one like it, just your typical flute I have seen such as Jeffs/Roi

I’m not sure which flute he usually uses when he plays with DMB/Dave, but I’ve found pictures online of him playing flute, and the only out of the ordinary ones I can see are a wood flute that looks like it’s probably pitched a little higher than a standard concert flute and an alto flute with a curved neck. Not sure if either of those are what you’re looking for.

Do You Remember from n1. Ending is new, kind of reminds me of a mellow version of Pig's ending.

This one in particular [Only registered users can see links.]
It has a big "j" at the mouth and is much fatter looking then a typical flute

Edit, here is another angle [Only registered users can see links.]

Ok, that’s the curved neck, but given the length and width of that one it’s got to a bass flute.

This is a lovely song. But I shake my head at a) the crowd that won't shut up and b) Dave's incomprehensible need to add scatting to everything now.
