It was a joke.

It seems like everyone is doing this now. I am sure it will be around for the '09 shows. BNL and Counting Crows did it on their last tour. I am excited to get the best sound quality of shows i go to!!!

Yeah I don't see that happening either. Having listened to a few tracks I am not disappointed in the purchase though. No buyers remorse here...
