Since we're waxing about WYA, my personal live WYA moment was the Central Park Concert and it was more like a WTF moment. I remember at the time, I was stunned they played this turd in the encore, especially after Grey Street...

That's kind of how I felt when they played Can't Stop at Wrigley Field. Felt like this song just doesn't belong in a big show like this.

I love a show ending with Dave screaming to get down on your knees, motherfucker.

The 2003 intros were interesting. Otherwise I could take it or leave it.

Yeah, I loved that intro. Then they always ruined it by playing the song after it.

Yeah at the time that encore was really a letdown, though nowadays we'd take that encore in a heartbeat.

I think most people thought the encore was "solid". 3-song encores were really unusual back then, and putting 3 popular songs in a row made sense for that show. But yeah I would enjoy it more these days than I would back then, if only because I haven't seen WYA live in a decade.

Stay and WYA were closing shows a LOT in '03, and I think that's why people didn't like it--it was too common for such a special show. And Grey Street while great wasn't the best encore song, most people preferred it in the set itself. But the rest of the show was so stellar the encore I viewed as just extra at that point. I know they didn't play last stop or dreaming tree or whatever, but that kind of set probably won't happen ever again with all those classics in one set like that with virtually no duds. Not that this show needs defending in any way, but looking back god damn.

That is a ridiculously stellar run and that's most of the show. Even if you hate WTWE. If that was what a 2016 set looked like we'd be going apeshit on here.

I've always thought Hershey '03 was the best setlist of that year.....and if you take into account the set changes, it's even better.

An in-store release with a set and performance like this would've made them some fans.....

Spoiler:

Granny
Stay
Crush
Dancing Nancies
Warehouse

So is the general consensus that there isn't anything worthwhile on this bonus disc? I never got around to grabbing it and giving the tracks a listen.

I'm not sure if there is much of a consensus. YNK (weird lyrics) and Warehouse are both worthy of a listen though.

Yeah I'm going to have to seek it out. When the tracklist was released everyone was disappointed so I didn't make it a priority but I realized the other day that I've never actually heard the tracks...

I don’t think I ever actually listened to that bonus disc either. I’ve got it, but just wasn’t all that interested in it.

You hit the nail on the head, listened to this today and these were the two stand out tracks for me.
