All done for the year. Last show was Willie Watson and it was really good. Would strongly encourage that for any folk fans around here. He should be way more popular.

Next up is Circles Around the Sun in Boulder just after new years. First of a few shows with Neal Casal for me. CRB has 10 colorado dates in February

I've got 4 nights of Phish @ MSG coming up, then Lake Street Dive, and 2 nights of TTB in January. Gotta save up my $$ for this year's jazz fest - it's about to break my bank.

Twiddle on NYE. Had only heard a few songs from Jam On on XM and went in kinda blind as to what to expect live but man do the put on a fun show. Had an absolute blast. I will catch them again for sure when they come my way.

I would highly suggest checking them out live.

Gonna try and see the Gin Blossoms next month. I saw them a couple of years ago and it was really fun. They are playing New Miserable Experience in it's entirety. Also want to see Weezer/Pixies and Metallica at the Yum Center. But who knows. Definitely see Jason Isbell/Son Volt and Chris Thile because it's free

Circles Around the Sun tomorrow in Boulder

Splurged and got a room at the hotel next door. Old "luxury" place built in 1909. Should be really cool.

If you're looking for a newish jam band, CATS is a good listen. Made up of 4 great musicians Neal Casal, Dan Horne, Adam MacDougall, Mark Levy.

One of the cooler music videos I've seen in a while, too.

Ghost Light is good stuff. Tom Hamilton has a really strong track record, this one is another win.

It was an awesome night. Great crowd. Wonderful set. Exceeded my expectations. And there's a nice audio recording of it: [Only registered users can see links.]

I'm a huge Chris Robinson Brotherhood fan. And this band is half of that (Neal and Adam). It's sort of a CRB show without the vocals

Dan Horne is my favorite bassist right now. He's done awesome work with Jonathan Wilson and I think Grateful Shred is a ton of fun. He also produced Mapache's last album and it's really good. Just a great talent.
