One of my co-workers lives near Toronado. Not sure if lives right on Haight though. He raves about the bar.

The whole area is really fun. I also went to Mini Bar, which was a good time. Also several locals bought me drinks at both bars to welcome me...just absurdly nice people everywhere.

I'm really excited to try that beer. It should be super fresh. Tonight is my stand-by beer, Steelhead Extra Pale Ale from Mad River Brewing Company
Picked up a six pack of the Speakeasy Metropolis tonight. It was good, but nothing impressive. I thought it would have more bitterness to it, but didn't. I'd buy it again, but will most likely wait until I try a couple more beers that we have on our shelf. First one being Firestone Walker Pale 31 and New Belgium Spring Blonde.

That’s awfully beautiful. Got ahold of a bottle of Iris over the summer. Just about as good as it gets.

I don’t drink nearly as much beer as I used to, but I had an “I’ll have what she’s having” over the weekend and loved it. Also had this years Anchor Christmas Ale and that’s another top notch beer each year.

Anchor Christmas was definitely good this year. We sold out of it quickly.
