I'm up there.

The only time I regret my vinyl collection is when I move into a new place. It's such a bitch to haul.

Totally. When we moved into our house a few years ago I vowed to die here so I never have to move that collection ever again.

I'm probably down to purchasing about 3-4 records a year and have been that way for the last few years. Love having a collection but I just can't justify the expense for something that I'll only spin a couple times. As much as I enjoy sitting down and listening to my records, realistically it encompasses a small percentage of my music listening, from a purely convenience based perspective.

That's why I made a point to call it a "consumerist" problem.

Vinyl is great, I love it, but I hate how fucking commodified it has become.

am i the only one that has zero interest in this (vinyl, cd, or digital)? what makes this a standout show that it gets this treatment?

used to purchase every release by the band, but recently only pick up 1-2 every year or so. not much that has really picqued my interest.

I can’t imagine purchasing everything this band release. There are Live Traxes I don’t think I’ve even listened to. There’s just way too much content to give more than half of it its due, unless all you listen to is DMB.

I, too, have no interest....but it's a 4.0 release, features Mark Batson on Bayou & When I'm Weary (that one's been played twice, ever) and has an orchestra on Here on Out, Squirm and Come On Come On. There are your highlights.

Wow is this the first non-LT/DMbLive in years? I canít remember when the last stand alone show released was.

This setlist is straight garbage but having the orchestra on those few tracks as well as some live versions of COCO and some other newer songs make it a little more enticing.

I think live @ Citi field was the last non-LT release.

I also have zero interest in this.

I like Live at Atlantic City was technically in store? Though I never saw it in store.

Technically, Sweet Briar was the last non-series release. Atlantic City was the last non-series DMB release, and Wrigley was the last one in stores. (You might be right, though, Tomacco. I don't remember ever seeing AC in a store, but I don't know for sure.)

maybe next week, since some stores are saying it was "delayed" until the 13th

I've seen that posted on a few web shops as well.

Just an oddball thing, but I guess not different from Live 25, until they offered the CD option.

Good point! So there's still hope. Thanks and fingers crossed!

Vinyl does come with a download card, but I don't want to open mine

Trying to get my buddy to send his since he's planning to spin it.

Still baffled how they didn’t offer this as a download for $13 or whatever it is. Insane.
