I received a set of Beats earbuds at an work Christmas party a couple of years ago. I enjoyed them.

I bought a set of $20 generic bluetooth earbuds off of Amazon last week because I wanted to work out cordless.

The $20 generic bluetooth sound 100x better. Especially the bass.

Yeah, I bought a pair of mPow Flames a couple of months ago for $15. They’re the kind that have the wire running between them (I bought them partially because I wanted to use them when I ride my bike, so I wanted that extra security), but I’m honestly blown away by how good they sound. I’m not an audiophile, but I’m just thrilled with the quality, even over the pair of over-the-ear headphones I used to have.

was watching Shameless on my phone while I was donating blood. The bass line during the opening song came through so clear.

Anyone else start putting together their top 10 albums of 2019? I've got about another 10 that I want to listen to this weekend and next based on some of the lists that have started being published.

I’ll be reviewing the spreadsheet and doing this next week.

I am doing a Top of 2019, and a Top 10 "older" albums that were new to me in 2019. I haven't defined what older means, and I might not. I just don't want to say pre-2019, because if I listen to an October 2018 release in January 2019, that shouldn't count toward this list. You guys know what I mean, I'm rambling...

Neil Innes, of The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band, The Rutles and most notably the man who helped Monty Python write most of the music used in the show and movies, has passed. The guy helped write this song, which automatically makes him a genius.

My man. To each his own, but I was thinking it was crazy the lengthier lists above didnít include the Lukas Nelson or Josh Ritter albums

Agreed! Though, I think in Rob and Tom's case, we know their musical tastes enough to say that they'd appreciate them, but not consider them front-runners for best of the year.

Happy New Year, guys.
