I know Grey Street is, but a version of Angel like that does as well. Similar to LT34. Between show and disc, it checks the boxes for things specific to the tour.
This is totally a fair argument, but then why DDTW?

I really wanted FTT and Grey Street on that disc, and given their uniqueness in terms of performances that year vs any other tour ever, it's a shame we don't have them.

But: still ultimately a fairly minor complaint. Release is absolutely 9.5/10 for me.

This series is now almost 16 years old.

Still not a single release from Mansfield/Great Woods

It's bad enough Mansfield has gone from a place where you would reliably get a really solid 2 night stand to a place that's barely a blip and gets shitty sets one night a year. So many good shows were played here in the past can we get a release of just one of them?

I feel like the Boston market only has 1 good release which is LT1. Fenway is pretty lame. Am i missing another?

I also think 05 was probably the last good year for Mansfield. 2012 had a few blips with the mansfield jam N1 and the Billies > Halloween & Minarets N2. But other than that its been super lackluster. Victor Wooten in 2013 was also a cool moment but that wasnt a great year for mansfield. in 2014 we had the return of the lovely ladies which sucks and after that its really nothing.

Having a 96 or a 97 show from there would be ideal to me.

Amen. If we're talking Fall '98, give me 12/7/98. If it's 2000, I'm after 7/13/00, 9/9/00 or 12/8/00.

Is there a good radio studio broadcast that is worthy of a release?

They are all pretty short though and we have good version of them for the most part.

There are a few nice ones though.

12.7.98 has been a holy grail of mine for many, many years. It's a phenomenal show and I will say that I've listened to that one more than I have 12.8.98.

That LIOG is just filthy.

They could fluff the release with a selection of live songs from that era.

edit: God, I'm glad doesn't sound so nasally anymore.

Isn’t that from a festival and not a studio though?

You're right. I wasn't paying as much attention to his stipulation. How about Yoshi's?

Dave did a lot of radio appearances in '98 and he mixed up the 3-4 songs pretty well during his stops. A compilation of them would actually be pretty cool.

It's not Mansfield, but 4/7/02 would make for a decent release. We need some Spring '02.

Spring 2002 is one of the most glaring omissions of released shows. So many good ones to pick from.

Indeed. It's a neglected tour for sure. I'm sure they will release one of them eventually though.

If I remember correctly that 2013 show was pretty good on paper. Wasn’t that the show with the first True Refections in like 10 years at the time? Look True Refections isn’t great, but it’s super rare now, and probably will never be played again with the Boyd situation. I remember downloading that tape, I have it somewhere.
