Nice. I just bought this for my daughter for Christmas because the commercials looked fun. Never played the series before....

I had only played the first one on Gamecube back in college and remembered enjoying it quite a bit.

Honestly can't go wrong with any "Mario" game.

I havent spent as much time on this one as I'd like. Dedicating tonight to a few hours of solid play. I absolutely love it so far.

I have the game downloaded but won't have time to play until tomorrow.
Though I have already decided on the same starter you did.

Did you go with Sword or Shield? I got the combo pack :-X but playing through Sword first based on some of the exclusive guys.

I haven't looked at any of the leaks or any of the evolutions of the starters, just the official video previews. Hopefully Sobble has good evolutions as he will lead me through the game.

Just Sword for us. I let my son pick which version to get. I also have stayed away from the leaks for the most part, but did look up the differences between Sword and Shield. It's interesting that there are version specific gym leaders. I don't really care about some of the complaints I've seen online regarding only including some of the previous pokemon, I just like to relax and play through the game fresh casually anyway. Looking forward to getting started.

How has the game been so far? Good start?

Im holding out on this one until i hear from some people I trust... including you all.

Is this picking up? Some of what I saw with it made me a little nervous.

The game, while quite fun, didn't live up fully to my expectations, however I am really looking forward to the DLC which seems like it will be more in line with what I had been hoping for.

I forgot to mention this yesterday, but it looks like Sony will be skipping E3 again this year. Two years in a row now. Even in a year where they are set to release their next system. Interesting decision. We’ll see how it plays out.

It’s a very good demo too. I can’t wait for the gene release next month.

I hadn't heard of Animal Crossing until I did a Zoom with a bunch of friends last night and now I kinda want to try it out.
