LYD is a dave solo song which is why it has always felt like filler or out of place in the DMB catalogue. That said, it would 100% be included on a modern day DMB record bc the band only releases dave solo albums at this point

i'm not a fan of these lists that contain songs which don't exist anymore

its easy to add Spotlight and other such songs to lists, but i don't think it captures what the question was really asking.

Let's do album songs (not necissarily album cuts, but the songs that made the records.)

My bottom 10 from BTCS, Crash, UTTAD and R2T....in no particular order:

Christmas Song
I'll Back You Up
#34
Rhyme & Reason
Satellite
Cry Freedom
Say Goodbye
Let You Down
Halloween
Stay (Wasting Time)

I was really conflicted with Cry Freedom & Say Goodbye, but not sure what I'd replace them with.

Trying to do worst album songs before '01 just shows you how much the band has fallen It's insanely hard to pick 10 bad ones pre-'01, and I could probably make 2 separate lists post '01.

I couldn't include any of these in my list. WWYS & Crash were (arguably) their two biggest hits that put them on the map and Jimi Thing made me a fan, despite it being so nonsensically overplayed now.

pre-2001:

I'll Back You Up
Christmas Song
Satellite
Rhyme & Reason
Lover Lay Down
Crash Into Me
So Much To Say
Too Much
Let You Down
Halloween

basically, the songs i mostly skip when listening to the albums

post-2001, there are too many to name, but a good start is most of Stand Up.

Exactly! But yeah, for me, post-2001 is just my initial list (really it's 2005 and newer.)
