Song would be just fine if Dave didn't open his mouth the entire time. Same with Be Yourself.

I love the end to Plastic Girl. Shame Dave sings it in such a silly manner

OK I just watched/struggled through it. It's now my least favorite song in the world.

After shitting on other people for forgetting that Smooth Rider exists, I legitimately completely forgot Plastic Girl existed. Fuck, that song is awful.

Well to be fair, Plastic Girl was played twice and then disappeared, whereas Smooth Rider appeared on an album and was played 100 times.

That end jam definitely evolved into That Girl is You. And the beginning has a real 'Come Tomorrow' feel. So if you put those two together, it's a shit sandwich.

I dunno how you're getting TGIY from that outro. Literally no idea.

I think you all sleeping on plastic girl. Minus that horrible bridge scat, I dug the debut. Just wanting to cleanse ourselves and enter the sterile comfort of a perfect plastic world. Who wouldn't want to live in Barbie's playhouse? "I want to get inside there" is also a little weird and sexual. Interesting little tune and ironically not very cheesy even with a title and chorus being "plastic girl". Majestic horn crescendo at one point. That bridge though, yikes.

The horn part live, not the studio cut.

Not sure if I actively *hate* 10 DMB songs. But let's see here. In no order... ('dislike' is more appropriate for many of these...)

Steady As We Go (cheese city)
Blackjack (scatting rubbish)
Smooth Rider (studio is harmless filler, live blows long & hard)
Dreams of our Fathers (always sounded overdramatic/chorus cribbed from JTR)
Be Yourself (fluff at its worst, made even worse by the Ladies)
Get in Line (monotonous)
Everybody Wake Up (pretentious, though they eventually made it palatable live)
That Girl is You (see above, except instead with shitty lyrics/vocals)
Seven (the way it's sung just annoys me now)
Spaceman (I never think of this one... not a good sign)
Kill the Preacher (this is not a song; it's a prelude)

I've probably forgotten some atrocities. EDIT: PLASTIC GIRL

Many of the usual suspects (Angel, Hunger, Can't Stop, etc) I still find at least somewhat enjoyable to hear.

And there are beloved songs I don't love, but respect, like I'll Back You Up, Lover Lay Down, Say Goodbye, Halloween and The Last Stop.

Others, like Drive In Drive Out and Fool to Think took me years to appreciate for some reason.

Let You Down is another example of a song I never think about.
