I haven’t run into that issue. I can download any app I want and if something doesn’t work there is a browser feature with obviously unlimited capability.

We still take the Firestick outta town with us in case we’re holed up at the hotel or nothing good is on TV, but the speed is night and day between the stick and the smart tv.

I saw this movie last night. It was entertaining and I usually like "Groundhog Day" themed movies that come out, as it's one of my favorite films of all time. I recommend this film too.

Trivial complaint, but how the hell has Hulu not adopted the “skip intro” feature yet?

The TV Thread (Netflix, Networks, Cable, Whatever)

I’ve been really diggin The Last Man On Earth. I love Will Forte all around and it’s a solid show but I wouldn’t recommend bingeing it. For the same reasons I wouldn’t binge House. For instance, I enjoy Kristen Schaal, but by season/mid-season 2 I wanted to punch her character in the face. Things like that and the reuse of musical tracks (and at predictable times with drawn out anticipation) begin to grind on you, but overall I had a blast with the show

i've been an avid listener of Tristan Harris's podcast ever since i heard him on sam harris's podcast 3 years ago or so:

this was a solid interview a while back also:

i've been really fascinated by this topic for a while now, and its nice to have a documentary to point to for the lay-person to watch

My wife has never been into a show like she’s into Cobra Kai.

I'm glad more people are able to watch Cobra Kai now. I signed up for YouTube Premium for it when it first streamed and I'm so glad I did.

A really fun, well made show.

My wife and i just got done season 1 last night. It's funny, after episode 2, we were so close to stop watching this because it's entirely cheesy. But we stuck through it and after the last episode, we both said, i guess we'll watch season 2, lol.

Best part of season 1 was Daniel and Johnny sitting at the bar looking up pics of Ali on Facebook

same here. There is a jerk on my social media feed who is putting people down because they just discovered Cobra Kai now and is acting like an elitist for watching the show on YouTube Premium. I wanted to tell him to get a life, but I guess miserable people need to engage in dick measuring contests from time to time.

You know 2020 is a strange time when people are flexing that they paid for premium access to watch a Karate Kid series before you did.

Right? I mean, if it was that important to you, that’s honestly great. But to think that is somehow a thing to hold over people is just weird. I couldn’t tell you a single other piece of content from the YouTube paid service. I’m just not going to pay for something that has one show I’m interested in. It’s the same reason that I haven’t signed up for Apple TV+ yet. And you know what? Both of those decisions paid off for me now.
