Live performances that are better than the studio cuts

The title says it all. I saw this today and it blew me away. A legitimately great (and topical) performance. Share some of your favorites.

If we ever relax the suppression levels back to "mitigation" policies, we go right back to 2 million people dead within three months.

This continues until there is a disseminated vaccine, currently 18 months from now.

I'm not sure if this is "better than the studio version" but it's the first performance that I thought of!

They’re one of those bands that I never listened to but want to start digging into. Another is Beck.

This came to mind right away - even without Roger Waters involved:

Beck is an amazing artist. One of my all-time favorites. I would say, imho, his top 5 albums (in no order) are:

Odelay, Morning Phase, Sea Change, Mutations, and Guero.

Puts on such a great show. Saw him quite a few times over the years. His DMB opening set for Foxboro '98 is one I'll never forget. Dude is a straight-up entertainer.
