Backstage at Camden 6/24/01. My dad's client used to be Dave's guitar tech (I want to say his name was Rich?) and he got us hooked up with tickets and backstage passes. After the show, we waited in a room for a good 30-40 then Boyd came in. Took pictures with everyone. A little while later, Dave came in and met with every single person. He apologized for smelling like a farmer and was pretty drunk. He signed my shirt - I kept asking him not to, but he insisted haha. I wanted to still wear the shirt! but I guess I can't complain since I haven't met him since. I got a pic with him and then he drew me a picture. It's how I got to know Jeff P (goldenmonkey) - he was backstage as well. The blonde girl is his sister. I think I have some pics somewhere with him in them.

What a great thing to have. I met him in '98. He signed my Red Rocks cover with his patented peace sign. It's certainly a prized possession of mine.

Awesome. I can see the band's schedule on the other side of the drawing too.

This is a fun thread. Some great photos in here. I like seeing photos from before 2010-ish, when smartphones didn't exist. You had to smuggle your camera into the show. I remember mine had a wrist strap that I would loop my belt through and then hang the camera down the front of my pants. Real sly.

Here are some real shitty ones I dug up:

4/7/02, Boston:

7/23/02, Great Woods (got a Warehouse upgrade pre-show):

8/7/03, Gorge (got another Warehouse upgrade, right after this photo was taken, but no photos from front row):
