There no chance the whole Boyd thing is why it's gone is there?

Doubt it. A few of those were Dave solo and D&T anyway.

No idea. Itís about as possible as any other explanation, I suppose. But itís probably just not a priority.

I think you're right. Still, it's odd it has been almost two years since the last one. iirc, the last release was that France '95 show released either the last day of July or the first few of August. I just remember getting for a trip. Even if they didn't sell a ton, seems like it would still be easy money.

It definitely does. It’s not like they have to do much for them, and they appeal to a slightly different audience from the LT series.

I don't enjoy DYR as an opener at all.

Another poor vocal performance from Dave so far on this show. Not a great pick.

Everything seems pretty uninspired here and lacking that energy/power. Tim and Buddy went way too overboard too early in their LIOG solos, didn't build them that great imo.

I initially really loved DYR but it's lost some steam for me all together lately.

Its been overplayed...

And I agree, i think this was the song they really latched on to from Come Tomorrow. Like a Rooftop, SMLAM, Mercy, etc. At one point, Dave mentioned his son said to him "this sounds the most like your old music". I tend to agree with that statement, but it doesnt mean they havent played it into the ground the last year or so.

I still enjoy it, but then again, I've avoided a lot of 2018-2019 DMB. I used to listen to every show as the tapes came out, etc. It's just not the same.

FWIW, I thought DYR had more pop last summer as a larger chunk of the fanbase got to learn the song. The crowd energy and reaction to it at Deer Creek last year was really great, at least where we were sitting. Of the newer stuff, it has been one that I've enjoyed the most, so that might factor into my impression a bit.

And I would agree the one on last night's show felt pretty subdued.

It makes me think of one sweet world in that regard. Friendly, familiar but overplayed and played exactly the same way each time.

Itís a good song, though. Iíd love for it to evolve into a jam that includes Jeff on flute... mixed with some of Timís cleaner, vibey Side.

Yeah, it'd be nice if DYR evolved in some way.
A bunch of the other CT songs are expanded live actually, which is a good thing (She, Come Tomorrow, Come on Come on, Black & Bluebird, That Girl is You)

Again & Again and Do You Remember could use something more at this point. And Can't Stop should be played a la Batson Sessions
