Good lord I just listened to this mercy. Amazing. The horn stuff under buddy is particularly great. But I can’t figure out what song rashawn is interpolating right before the last horn line he does with Jeff. Anyone get it?

Like, it's incredible. I know we are all suffering from isolation insanity, but that was one of the best 4.0 jams I've ever heard.

I've always really enjoyed Mercy, but never thought the band totally figured it out live, but they nailed that version and it needs to stick around for awhile.

Glad to hear this is going to be a decent disc. Don't have it yet but was looking to see if any aud recording exists in the meantime....I assume the Mercy isn't out on Youtube or anything given it was part of their European shows last year?

It was only played once, with no AUD, so I'd never heard it. Really nice though.
Overall though, this disc is actually a really solid and diverse representation of what 4.0 can do.

I was being kind of an asshole to you, so I do apologize. Not sure why I was so crabby that day.

I'll also jump on board the "this Mercy is pretty good" bandwagon. JTR and Grace stick out too.

Really great version of Mercy, lived up to the hype. Of course they only played it once like this.

Thinking about the "only played it once like this," what else can we add to that category?

That Dancing Nancies extended outro from a few years ago? If I Had It All from 9/14/07? Wasn't there an extended Fool to Think or something like that, too? Beach Ball from 5/1/09? Crazy Easy from 7/16/04?

I'll also add the extended Captain they did at Alpine on 7.25.15

Excitingly enough, all five of the performances you just mentioned have been released. They do find us gems from time to time...

I had that same thought once DMBCLSTJ mentioned that that Fool to Think had been released. That's really great.

Anyone have any others that haven't been released? Let's get the campaign going!

I guess not a one time thing because the song is a staple today...

But the YMDT from Derek creek in 05 is worth a listen at least once I think. Was about 11 minutes long. Just the 6 of them no Ross. This was before YMDT really even had an identity but they do that cool chameleon outro on it.
