Toy Soldiers during June 1996 is really pretty. Love those type of improv songs. I'm listening to 6/21/96, a show I've always loved for it's chillness. As with many shows, it's been a long time since I've given it a spin.

That's awesome. We can't even get Roi on DMB's streams

Interesting...

I ordered Live Trax vol 1 with my 51, because I love the show and technically never bought it, whatever... But they changed the art of recent printings to the vinyl art.

is it "minus" BT?
I believe they changed that art on a couple others to be zoomed in more thus removing him

He wasn't on the cover of the original LT1 art, which was the same pic they used when they reprinted old volumes with the new black art. The vinyl came out with cover art of a storage box. That happens sometimes with these when they pic they use for the smaller cover isn't later high res enough to use as the vinyl cover, so they changed it. But then the latest printings of the CD have the vinyl cover and not the original.

If I had one request going back in time, it’d be for DMB to have properly finished and included Captain on Streets. Right after Pig, before Spoon. And a proper Monkey Man. Imagine Streets with Captain and MM.

I forgot how much of a tool this guy was. Spotlight is light years better than some late-to-current stuff.

My request would be for them to finish the LWS. DMBs approach to music totally changed once they scraped it, and created Everyday in only 2 weeks. Itís impossible to tell, but I truly believe if they finish the LWS the post 2000 material as a whole is a lot stronger.

Maybe not the entire song but Spotlight has some of Daveís all time worst lyrics, especially combined with the way he sings it. What song he has written recently is really worse than than ď In the spotlight life is so peachy, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Unless youre in the spotlight for reason, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Caught for stealing somebodys riches, no, no, no, noĒ

Kind of a random question, but I just noticed on the board’s landing page that on January 16 of this year we broke the record for most users at a time that was set on the night of Roi’s death. Can someone remind me what happened that day that brought so many people here? I can’t think of anything special.

Not sure, but I think it's super weird that there are 19x of visitors vs registered users on the board right now.

Maybe something similar was happening then? Would Brandon be able to see what thread was most highly-trafficked?
