Awesome

Absolutely loved it. I saw it at the New Beverly on 35MM - one of the best movie theater experiences I've had in a long time.

I’ve got tickets to see it at the Kennedy Center in September, but I’m not hopeful that it’s going to happen.

It's coming back here in February. Depending on how much tickets are I might go again. Not paying $175 a second time.

RIP Joel Schumacher. Just watched his Phantom of the Opera over the weekend (my 10 year old is obsessed with all things Phantom right now). It was... flawed

I saw the show the day before they filmed this version. I was flying up and paid a line sitter (so much money and will not reveal the $, but at the time, it was a cheaper way to see it) to sit in line for a few days and get me tickets from the box office. Unfortunately, since they were filming on sunday, leslie odum jr/lin/chris jackson/phillipa soo were out. The rest of the cast was OBC though and it was incredible.

Since then, I've seen Hamilton 3 times in NY, once in Chicago, and twice in New Orleans. It's that good.

Guy was both a great and a terrible director.

Falling Down
8mm
A Time to Kill
Flawless
The Lost Boys
Flatliners (1990)
The Client

are worth watching.

And the 1943 version of Phantom of the Opera with Claude Rains is pretty good. More horror than musical though.

That's one I haven't seen. Or Dying Young.

I re-watched this a few months ago. Emilio Estevez would be arrested today for 1/2 of the shit he does in this movie, it's awkward when he's on screen.

I can't help but notice nobody wants to talk about Michael Keaton returning as Batman.

It’s definitely an interesting piece of news, but right now I’m in a very “wait-and-see” place with the DC movies.

He was a great Batman. But I'm not sure I need to see a 68 year old Batman.

Heís being described as a sort of Nick Fury figure, which could work.

Yeah I don’t think we’ll see him singly handedly fighting a lot of crime.
