Yeah they definitely didnít have a large enough rotation of songs in the acoustic sets so they got repetitive.

The two sets format helped the song selection. And we usually got more songs per show. Unfortunately many of the main sets were polluted by the Lovely Ladies nonsense.

Also, it still baffles me why they didn't do Jimi in the acoustic half.

Iím a broken record at this point but I loved the acoustic sets. My best DMB memories post-2009 are more or less in those acoustic sets.

It had its flows, and we all know what they were. But we still got much longer shows and more songs per show. And to see/hear them actually changing their sound up significantly was refreshing. Shame they ditched the format. Keeping it up would actually help them pace themselves.

I don’t know... I can remember watching Carter live during the acoustic set and thinking he was trying to sound just as loud. He was killing himself beating the hell out of that kit. It would be cool if they revisited it but I ruin they would have to rethink the approach on several songs.
