Ever since it's release LT8 has been my go to show. I love the '04 tunes so much and that opening run of Hello Again, Granny, 41, Stone, Crazy Easy is just awesome. Plus a Typical Warehouse encore is near impossible to beat.

Before LT8 was released however, it was without question LT3

Although it definitely doesn’t qualify as one of my favorites, WOTR does have a handful of standout performances. I don’t even like the song, but he’s right that the version of Stand Up on that one is pretty great.

I'm right there with you on LT8. 04 was the last group tour this band had IMO. I picked RR 95 just ahead of it.

Despite a fair amount of crap there are a lot of standout performances from CWOTR, I agree with a bunch of the ones mentioned. I most often go back to the 9/10 Two Step and the 9/12 American Baby Intro (Roi's section of that is ridiculous)

Been a while since I've revisited any live releases but off the top of my head I've probably listened to CP and LT3 the most out of any of them

For me it will probably always be LT3, but it is closely followed by LT8. I was at LT8 at Alpine and had a great weekend camping with a big group and we talked about how it was a great DMB show right afterwards, so it is a sentimental favorite along with just being an amazing release.
Runners up: Central Park, LT1, Red Rocks

The LT 3 vinyl was one of the best "probably too expensive for what it is" things I've ever bought.

That's it, Sir.
I understand.

I like everything up to Soldier's Filed or whatever that show was that had the companion DVD with the fat girl's tits in Ants Marching. I listened to it once and decided after that shitty release I wasn't going to roll the dice at $20 a pop. I never even really needed more than Red Rocks and Luther anyway.

I set up a bracket with all of the live release. I've never used this site before but it seems to work pretty well. The seeds are mostly random but I think the Top 8 or so seeds seem to be correct.

Check it out, let me know how it works:

I assume you're talking about Folsom Field. That was a very shitty release, but since then you've missed out on a ton of great releases. At the very least check out Central Park, especially if you're likely to watch the companion DVD, which is worlds better than the Folsom Field DVD.

Yeah, I thought that was the toughest first round match-up for sure.

Should we make a new thread for this? Is this something we want to do?

LT8 over 40 no question. I thought 40 was pretty underwhelming.

Thatís how I went. I donít know that Iíd use the word underwhelming, but as I thought about it I definitely donít think itís as all-around solid as 8.
