Shit really? I'm gonna listen to this thing tonight. I'm not super familar with that performance, but I know I must have heard it at least once back in '12.

I was really into this FTT back in '12 after it happened, and I wasn't even at the show. Great to revisit it in an official release.

Fuck, this Angel would be tolerable if it ended at the 5 minute mark. In no way, shape or form does this song need or deserve to be longer, let alone a staggering nearly 14 minutes.

Hoping mine is the mail today, but I’m guessing the storm screwed things up.

Always thought this. I don’t dislike Angel. I dislike 15 minute renditions of Angel with the ladies.

I could probably be a fan of Angel (not those torturously drawn out ones) if it had anywhere near decent lyrics. The riff is actually pretty great, but the rest of it is pretty awful.

I got the Volume 7 this morning in the mail. Listened to DIDO and Fool. Nice versions

Is this better than the Folsom Field version?

Wait, they seriously edited Boyd out of both discs entirely?

I don’t know, aside from the first line, it’s no worse than anything else he’s come up with. Again, it’s a low bar, but still.

That's quite a thing to say. I guess I need to hear this.

Edit: Just watched the 3-cam sync. Really great stuff.

Fool To Think is fantastic.

The mix on all of these songs are great so far. Even.

Yes Angel is 13 mins, but I kinda dig the jam.

So this is where 2018 has brought us. The tide is starting to ever so slightly turn on Angel.

This PFWYG is outstanding. Carter's playing is so intimate and made me double check the date, I thought this might have been a 2014 acoustic performance.

This disc is also missing the Kill the Preacher intro to WIA.

edit: It's only "missing" a tease with Dave playing the chords. No big deal.
