Yes, and that one is a great choice. Going to write-in that!

I think that was one of Butch's first solos with the band, right? Such a great performance.

Yeah, I don't *think* he soloed on those earlier Heartbeat intros, so I can't think of many (any?) others. Regardless, that solo and the whole version is fantastic.

For those of you who either haven't heard it or it's been a while, I submit Heartbeat > Rapunzel from 4.7.02:

Nice choice, such a great show overall. Definitely worthy of a release of the whole show. Very happy we finally got Bartender though!

You guys are voting for tracks from shows that will likely be released in full 12/5/98

Thats an important angle to this. Lets get a good song from a ehh show.

also assuming this voting process has anything to do with what makes the disc.

Big Eyed Fish > Bartender 7.25.01
Broken Things 12.11.12
Pig 4.4.02
Drive In Drive Out 6.22.97
Tripping Billies 8.31.93
Two Step 7.29.02
You Never Know 8.24.03
Write in: Grey Street 7.19.00

I wonder how many of these choices are songs that were considered for DMB Live 25 but not taken? I have a feeling the last Warehouse disc was made up of DMB Live 25 rejects.

Why is that show likely to be released? I mean I think it is a great show, but I don't know why it is more likely than any number of others that tracks are being mentioned from here.

I don't think anyone should vote for a song that's already included in the official voting list. They won't put two of the same song on the disc, so you're throwing your vote away. That's why I've switched my Two Step 8/7/03 vote back to Eh Hee 8/26/07.

I would love this. I can't think they're getting song rights to I Will Not Apologize and guest sign-off rights for them for a Warehouse disc, but I could be wrong. Looking at everything they have on their list, the only guests are the Ladies, and pre-Roi Coffin.

At the very worst though, this data will be useful to them long-term, I hope.

Assuming everything is on the up and up but I will not put it past them to totally throw out the write ins and have the extras songs be from the list or just a random song.
Basically I don't trust the voting system

No one ever said anywhere: The Top 7 set tracks and Top 3 write-ins will make it. I assume they are still trying to reach 10 songs, in which case there will absolutely be songs on the disc that we aren't expecting. A top 10 from us that only includes the preset list and no write-ins would still be like 100 minutes.

Yeah, it's not like anyone will ever be able to confirm that people voted for the winner. They can just pick whatever song they want, and then claim 500 people voted for it.
