This'll be a good show to listen to, but I'd much rather have had 9.19.07. That was an insane performance from everyone in the band, but most of all Roi!

You thought GW last year was horrible? Like on par with GW 07? That show was HOT TRASH. Totally lackluster, and the only thing interesting was dave solo cornbread which inspired the Carter, Dave, Butch Cornbread the next night.

I didnt think last years's show was amazing, but the Bismarck was my favorite of the entire year (listened to more than a few), was glad to finally get sugar will, and stop me if you heard this before but Jimi was really fun.

if youre counting the hartford show as N2, then i agree it was very underwhelming, but the opening run at hartford was pretty good through grace.

Definitely happy for the fans of this era

I'm intrigued. I pretty much gave up on the band in 2007... I had no intentions of seeing them in '08 until the rumor mill started saying Tim Reynolds might join. So needless to say, I've never gone back and listened to 2007 a single time that I can recall. I'll give this a shot for the hell of it

They could have definitely done worse for this tour. A couple interesting tracks but not compelling enough to buy.

IOY, Shotgun and Kill The King were really well received at the time. But performance wise the shows were NOT good overall. Dave's voice was at its worst and Rashawn started carving out more of a role which wasn't good either. He added a lot to songs like So Right at the beginning of '06 that we all like but he grew more annoying as the tour progressed and the "canned" horn stuff really started developing. '05-August'07 is hands down the worst the band has ever been and most people agree. September '07 they really turned it around and started firing on all cylinders again. The 11/13/07 GIG is one of the best ones of all time. Then '08 which doesn't need any more discussion there's no debate how fun and rejuvenating that year was, despite also being very tragic. Really from '08-'13 the band was on fire imo, and really started turning things in the right direction. The lack of quality new material combined with stale sets and everything really made '14-'16 really lackluster imo. The break was really needed hopefully it helps a little bit. /
I enjoyed my show in 06! I got BFF on a 28min #41 and JTR that year!

Of the 2007 shows, I've always wanted 9/14 and 11/13. We're halfway there now.

Yeah after this, I've gotten everything I really need covered from 2007. We still have nothing from 2012 or 2016, so I would like that next. 2013 would be good too since we only have the one show (good pick though). And there are a few 2-sets shows I would like too. Always up for another 2000 or 2003 show too.

Wondering when the day will come that we get a 2005 LT. Red Rocks covered literally everything I would care for from that year though.

I'd like to see a July 2004 show next, followed by August 2002.

That deer creek show from 05 is really good. the one with the improv jam and the absolutely killer grey street.

Meh. I like that jam, but that Grey Street is overrated, IMO.

If that show becomes the only show that I've been to get released, it will not make me happy. That's the show that destroyed my interest in going to see this band.

Well, I did take an 8 year break, but yeah, I obviously am. Did you have a point?
