They really need to release these on vinyl during the initial release. At the rate they're going only releasing them during RSD, they'll catch up somewhere around 2055.

Wow was definitley not expecting an '07 release as the next LT, this is a welcome surprise. This setlist looks actually quite good. My pick for '07 would be 11/13/07 hands down but this looks nice. Clearly not the best show of the year, but a lot of cool stuff to get..LW, ADSR, IIHIA are worth the release alone. I also really like this particular shotgun, might be my favorite one actually. Agreed that they could have released the songs I mentioned on just a bonus disc but this show looks unique enough that I'll enjoy it.

People get on '07 a lot but the '07 summer/Fall was actually much better than the overseas shows from earlier in that year. '07 was one of those years that the band got better as the tour went on. September '07 and those November shows were the pinnacle of '07, and also some of the last shows with Butch, which I'm sure at least he knew would be his last tour.

Doesn't look very interesting to me at all. '07 was a pretty rough year imo. Would have been fine with just having the IIHIA as a WH track or something. But I don't listen to the LT series much at all so I'm not going to complain much.

This is a pass for me, but I've been happy with most of the last few. Hoping for another DMBLive before the end of the summer.

Wouldn't be surprised if it was similar.
Should have picked the 2004 WPB run instead but this will do I guess.

Good call on 11/13/07. I went back and listened to 10/2 a few years ago and Dave's voice was cracking. These shows just don't hold up and the period in general was just awful. I remember the bitching here on the opening night of the '07 tour, it was basically just a continuation of the awful 2nd half of 2006. Same stale songs and performances. Thank god for Tim

The Two Step intro from 10/2 is still awesome, though

Yeah that show and last year's GW shows were probably the only times I've left outright cranky after a show. Probably the only shows off the top of my head that I've caught that i left thinking "why did you tour this year?"

Not familiar with this entire show, amazing the difference between this time period, which was likely the low point of my fandom, and june 08 which was just incredible for me.

To be fair, that uptick started in September 2007. I walked out of Blossom about 4 songs before the encore break. I predicted the rest of the set and got all but 1 right, I think. But the run to the end of the tour start around VT turned the momentum (and even Alpine and Bonner were solid sets).

There are always clunkers in these sets this year, so I guess if bad songs draw your eye more than good songs, there are few examples of a show to release from this tour.

That is fair.

I actually still remember that first show in 08 with Tim in Pittsburgh.
Maybe it was real, maybe it was just me but the energy of that night was just over the top. A feeling that I had not had at a show since 03 probably.

I was there in Pittsburgh and we all felt it. No doubt. Especially after Dave introduced him and he got about a minute straight applause.

I'm just saying that the year did finish on an uptick with the south and CA run, then the November east coast shows. There was reason to be optimistic. Sort of the opposite of 2006.
