Tim plays guitar and Carter plays the drums. While they're the same age, and pretty old, there's a big difference there, no? The amount of energy they need to exert to play their instruments is on a different scale.

Night 2 has begun. An' Another Thing opener. I wish he'd go back to what that song used to be.

These Chicago shows seem to be a letdown.

I don't mind it, but it's pretty forgettable.

Second half of the show looks pretty good at least.

What a horrendously bad show. Dave legitimately had to apologize for messing up after numerous songs, too much being the primary one. Said "my wires are crossed" a bunch tonight. I counted five songs botched to a noticeable extent. Terrible show, they legit couldn't even just go through the motions. Last night was amazing (especially leaving before the encore, main set was spectacular). Tonight the opposite.

I had a good time. Stone, Billies, bowa, little thing, bartender, nancies, rapunzel, etc. there were 2-3 songs from every album. It was a good mix. Loved Too Much!! Watchtower was pretty great. I always love Granny.

It wasn't a dream set or anything but it was fun

N1 was a lot better than N2, IMO. I went in with low expectations because Chicago almost always gets shafted with a hits heavy set. That place is truly a horrible place for Dave and Tim. Crowd was awful both nights. Full band atmosphere for D&T doesn't work.

All of N1 was rock solid. The encore was so good, definitely didn't expect that combination of songs.

Dave definitely did forget the second verse lyrics in Too Much. Still really cool to hear that one D&T style, along with Rapunzel/BOWA/Nancies, YMDT (a highlight, with extended Dave vocals and an awesome Tim solo), Little Thing, midset Watchtower, etc.

Totally whiffed on picking up any kind of rarities though, I was dying to hear Pig, #40, or Help Myself.

I'm pretty sure he said the wires crossed thing because his IEMs got tangled. I only heard him say that once, but when he did he was trying to fix them, and I believe Monk came out as well to help him.

Think I ended up just fine not going back home for this. The venue really does no favors and the sets are meh. Oh well.

Just checked in to see what they played, yeah wow compared to philly it was brutal. Sorry for those who sidnt go to Mann, got excited because of the bustouts and then had to go through this garbage. SPAC is gonna be really good though, could possibly beat out the Mann sets. Though I think even Holmdel looks better than these Chicago shows

Personally I think Holmdel is the show of the tour so far.
