I was on ufck from 2004-2007ish I think... can't rememember a guy by that name. A username would maybe trigger something.
Sad though.

woah.....I believe this guy and I exchange some some albums back in the day. Definitely was a Dan from Ohio and I know he was a musician. What was his screen name? Rest In Peace brother. God bless.

Yeah, that's really sad. He was a pretty cool guy, from what I remember, back in the day.

Was this the Dan guy who at one time went to NYC and then had an audition to play bass or something with a major musical act? It was his favorite artist or something.

Anyone remember that from UFCK?

Pretty sure that was jazzman and Doughty.

Sad news for sure. Haven't logged in to ufck in a long time. Is it a ghost town now?

I was thinking it was jazzman and brion, but I think you're correct about it being doughty.

It definitely was Doughty that Keith (jazzman) tried out for. I remember him saying something along the lines that auditions were in Doughty's apartment and during and after the audition he didn't get much of a response from Doughty.

Definitely more posting there than here, but it is a ghost town compared to what it used to be. Similar to here in that it is a small core group and the posting is limited to a few threads a day. No more having to go to the second page to catch up on threads. It's like 4 or 5 threads on the front page seeing action.

Ufck got pretty slow for a minute and I think they even talked about shutting down but in the last couple years it seems to have regained some traction.

I was a member really breifly on Ufck when nancies.org went down and was so happy that this site was created. Ufck was fun but it always felt like we were paying rent and taking up the crappy small room in the house. Glad we have our own place here, even if it's less people. If DMB or Dave ever makes relevant new music again, I think stuff here will pick up more. We saw an increase in 2016 when those new songs dropped.
