It looks okay. I think Tye Sheridan's a good actor.

I'm tired of these kind of action films. Probably why I've still yet to watch any of the Transformers. I suppose it's not the type of nostalgia I'm looking for.

Great to see The Iron Giant again. Love that film.

Sure does. Has that same kinda retro 80's-ish vibe that GotG does, I dig it.

I think this is going to be a good one.

I wonder how they're going to present the ending? It's too bad there's a ratings board.

Brief thoughts...

Dunkirk is symphonic filmmaking at its finest. A cinematic experience to behold.

A Ghost Story was unlike anything I've seen before, and although I didn't love it while I was watching it, I can't stop thinking about it and it's grown on me more and more as time has passed. It is especially great if you read "A Haunted House" by Virginia Woolf directly following the film.

The Big Sick is the funniest movie I've seen this year, and it really captures love in this current incarnation of America.

War For The Planet Of The Apes has some of the best CGI I've ever seen, right up there with Gravity and the bear scene from The Revenant. Andy Serkis was incredible and deserves some serious recognition for his performance as Caesar.

All four of these films get to the heart of the human condition in very different ways, and they are collectively four of the best films this summer has had to offer. If you haven't seen them yet, you are missing out.

it kills me that I know people that say "I don't want to watch a movie about some loser that falls in love with his phone!"

Because it really is that simple

Welp, Sony took Bad Boys 3 off it's release calendar. Safe to say that one will really never happen.

Exciting news from acclaimed independent filmmaker Don Hertzfeldt: He has announced "World of Tomorrow Episode II: The Burden of Other People's Thoughts" is in the works. This is the sequel to 2015's "World of Tomorrow", which was one of the best films from that year, and might be one of the best films of the century so far. He's such a brilliant filmmaker, "World of Tomorrow" and "It's Such A Beautiful Day" are two the best and most thought-provoking films I've ever seen. No word on release date or method yet, but I can't wait for this.

As much as I have posted that I am 'done with Kentucky' and what not... This is still my home. And when Cameron Crowe made this film he called it a "love letter to Kentucky'"

I love this movie and love my state.

Finally watched the original (haven't seen the second either) and wow, what an awful movie. Surprised that movie gets the love it does.

I haven't seen either of them, but I'm pretty sure that the vast majority of the love for that series is reserved for the sequel.
