Was he scheduled to be on Leno before this whole mess? Seems odd that Leno would have him on after he ripped Leno 2 nights ago, unless Leno was hoping for these types of answers for publicity.

Kimmel is really nailing it here, and I'm glad. The man knows his shit, and is funny as hell.

Wow. Kimmel has some big ones. There were two absolutely fantastic shots in there.

The rumor is next Friday will be Conan's last show. I can't believe NBC is really going to follow through with this, especially with practically no one supporting Leno. And Conan's ratings are up like 40%.

Stern says he'd rather not do satellite, he would do it face to face.

He does a radio show - couldn't he broadcast that from anywhere? So he could fly to LA, do Conan, and record his show from there that day.

No, not really. I've only listened to him a few times when he was syndicated and not at all since he moved to satellite.

well he works out of an expensive studio and has a large crew and a lot of equipment with pre-recorded bits and songs and whatnot. it's not possible to do his show the way it needs to be done. the only time he does his show on the road is when he has a lot of prep time and that's usually for a week of shows in vegas.

Not signed yet, but NBC to give $30 million to Conan for time slot. That's a lot of money, but the situation still sucks.....
