I own seasons 1-4 on bluray, so I really might have to start diving into those before the new season starts.

Welp.... the re-watching journey has lead up to tonight, where we will be sitting down to Episode 9 of Season 6, the Battle of the Bastards.

This re-watch was incredibly necessary.

We re-wrapped up Season 2 last night. Restarting 3 tomorrow, and will take a bit of a break before restarting 4. Maybe watch this past season of the Americans.

I went on a sales call and the Customer had a Replica Long Claw on display in his living room... we started talking GoT so much I forgot I was there to sell him a new Air conditioner...

I plan to rewatch at least the last 2 seasons, once I finish a few of these other shows.

I'm super excited and worried at the same time to see what they do with this season. Several storylines in the last 2 seasons felt either rushed or completely castrated, and there have been a few plot choices that don't really make much sense. Since most of the snafus have been where the storyline is far past the source material, and this season will seemingly be 100% on its own, I could see things going any number of ways.

...but even so I can't wait for 7/16 to get started.

Last nights episode was intense! Did Jaime and Bronn even survive?

My guess is that they did survive but are now prisoners of Daenerys.

And saying this the knight dove in forgetting that his suit of arms
Would surely weigh him down and so he sunk
And as his body disappeared before me
I bowed my head in silence and remembered all thoughts that he had thunk

What an episode that was this past Sunday! Probably a top 3 all-time episode right there. I can't wait for this Sunday!

Episode 6 is out there. Apparently it was accidentally aired in Spain.

The new episode is so good - possibly my favorite of the series. So much crazy shit happens.

how do you "accidentally" air an episode?

Despite all the action in tonight's episode, there were some flaws as well.

The speed at which everything's been happening this season is disconcerting.

That would make sense and that would provably be the season cliffhanger ending.
