The fact that Cornbread has been around for a decade is something else.

I still think it's one of their most fun live songs in the past decade. Though it did peak in 2008-09 which was a while ago.

Loved Corn Bread at WPB '07. My favorite rendition is from Mansfield N1, 2008.

Just another good Dave riff ruined by nonsensical, blatant lyrics that show just a huge lack of effort. Rapunzel is a much better example of how to be dirty and sexual in a song without being just downright distasteful. I just think this song could have been a lot better than what it became. I've also heard it at over 80% of the DMB shows I've ever attended which makes me dread seeing it live. Hearing it D+T style was definitely more refreshing but still not a huge fan of it. I think it's a very overrated song in the band's catalog (not by us, but by a lot of fans in general).

I would also throw in the Wrigley '10 version with those two.

Good picks, don't remember that WPB one though. 8/9/08 (LT 15) is also very good. My favorite one ever is Gorge '14 with DRH, it becomes an entirely different song in the jam:

Surprised to see so much love for CB, I thought I was like universally loathed by the fan base and I have secretly always liked it. Due to a crappy memory, I've never been a real big "version on this date" guy, but the versions of CB with Bela were ridiculously good.

I always liked it. I heard it at RCMH '07 for the first time (hadn't heard any of the Euro tapes going into that show) and it was a highlight for me leaving. Lyrics never bothered me, I never really understood the problem do you guys dislike Crash too?

But holy fuck did it get overplayed. Which sucks if you go to alot of shows, but honestly if I was the band I'd play it every night too based on how the crowd consistently reacts to it

Reallyyyy don't like the verse lyrics. Don't mind the rest of the song.

Song is and will always be one of the most cringeworthy lyrical efforts Dave's ever produced.

Catchier than Hunger, but lyrically it's just as forced and embarrassing.

Though the riff is nice. Shame they wasted it on everything else about the song.
