The Halloween outro and transition to the Stone was really good.

And I’m not a fan of the song to begin with, but I thought they did a fantastic job with this too

Was curious what can be done to minimize ads in YouTube without paying for Red. It's really difficult to watch Copperpot full shows anymore. Ads are now appearing midsong.

Do I just rip the video? Any end around to this without paying for YouTube red?

YouTube is borderline unwatchable right now. Bleh.

If you're on a non-mobile device, use AdBlock. It blocks all YT ads.

For a phone or tablet, I'm not sure.

I've never understood the point of cover bands. Cover songs, sure.

Though Dread Zeppelin isn't bad.

i don't get the point of cover bands who cover bands which are still very active.

the other day on reddit, i saw a guy promoting himself to the john mayer subreddit, trying to get fans to come see him play john mayer covers at a bar before the actual john mayer concert down the street. subjecting myself to a cover band right before seeing the actual band seems to me like something from the Bad Place - but based on the other comments in that thread, it seemed like i was in the tiniest of minorities.

I kind of understand it, in this case, since DMB hasn’t played Scranton since, I believe, 2013. Gives people something to do while hearing their favorite music in a live setting....there’s a market for it here, but DMB doesn’t come around anymore.

Cover bands can be fun. It’s a low-key cheap way to see live music you’ll enjoy. As long as the cover band is good.

I'm pretty sure he is using a DM3MD AKA Dave's Signature Martin in the BTCS video posted and in some of the other videos he has a Chet Atkins.

Maybe the guy is going for period guitars for songs.

Nothing wrong with a good cover band is what I say.

I don't know why this strikes my interest.

Towards the end of the second set nye 12.31.96, somewhere 10 hours west, Townes Van Zandt is giving up his ghost.
