I cant believe i missed last night, but after listening Grace and Last Stop, I can say those were some of the beat and coolest performances out of this band in a long time.

Reprise on Last Stop is awesome. With Tim, Buddy on piano, and Hollanda it sounds like something that would've happened in 1998. Wish the webcast mix would let me hear Hollanda, Tim, or Buddy during the actual song itself.

Grace Is Gone is lovely! Wow. I miss Boyd on this one, but the piano and Hollanda provide a lot of the same delicate, wistful tone, just in a completely different way.

I thought last stop sounded great. Not the usual lyrical flub during the verses that completely trainwrecks it. Buddy was playing Boydís part violin part right before the reprise which was always skreeíd. The reprise was beautiful with the piano

You could literally feel the crowd falling in love with Holanda. I’ve never seen a guest win a crowd over so quickly.

9-1-18 Set Picks/Discussion (The Gorge Amphitheatre | George, WA) *YouTube Live Broadcast*

Josh

Decent set. Great to see Last Stop. Though I’ve never understood why we call the outro a reprise. It isn’t a callback to ANY other part of the song and even changes mode. I assert that it’s an outro. In any case, glad they pulled it out. I’ll reserve judgement till I listen.

Shitty encore. I can’t understand how bad Dave has gotten at encores this year. And this is the GORGE: he may as well have SMLAM’d em and GTFO.

BUUUT, N2 Gorge could’ve been much worse. Would’ve been a fun show to attend

Callback to the outro being the "Reprise" on BTCS is always the way I've thought of it.
