if you're into the criminal justice system/true crime, the Sworn Podcast is an interesting listen: [Only registered users can see links.]

I just finished listening to the Origins podcast on Curb Your Enthusiasm. I'd recommend it if you enjoy the show. Some good interviews and background information on how the show was created, Larry David, and how various actors went about playing their roles. Hearing Susie, JB, and Cheryl talk about their respective roles was my favorite part.

[Only registered users can see links.]

The next part of his Origins series is on ESPN and he's currently doing one about Nick Saban. So if you're a sports fan, there's some good content here as well. The host is the dude who wrote the ESPN and SNL books.

Two of my old favorites just returned from long breaks.

After a second season where it felt a little like their reach exceeded their grasp, Season 3 of Serial feels a lot more like the first. They spent a year inside the Cleveland Ohio Justice Center to look at how the criminal justice system actually works. They talk to defendants, prosecutors, defense lawyers and even judges. I'm back to listening to that one immediately.

Also, The Thrilling Adventure Hour popped back up yesterday with a new episode. I don't know if anybody else ever listened to it, but it's a sort of parody of 30s/40s radio shows, and one of the most consistently funny podcasts ever.

Alec Baldwin’s rant on Trump in the SNL episode was intense. Overall a good season.

I basically only listen to pro wrestling related podcasts these days. It's a fantastic existence.

I’ve worked some MMA events recently. That is some dumb, over-hyped shit right there.

Steven Hyden’s Celebration Rock Podcast is doing an episode on DMB next week. Lol, probably not gonna be a positive discussion.

It’s called “Contrarian Canon: Dave Matthews Band’s Lilywhite Sessions”. A critic of DMB and a DMB fan debate the quality of the LWS.

I'm a big fan of Hyden's writing, we align on a lot of our musical views. Not crazy about him on the podcast but I'll check it out for sure.
