don't worry, by the time it appears on an album it will be a full-fledged love song about a chick sucking off a shotgun behind a tool shed.

There'll be a click track to the studio version.

The shotgun is actually a symbol for something else. It's for putting in your mouth.

The new lyrics look polished, like it's getting the studio treatment.

I think I prefer antique shotguns over sawed off ones.

Just watched [Only registered users can see links.] again for the 1,013th time.

Some things I wish were today as they were in 2006:

-The opening bit is much shorter now than it was back in 2006 (about 30-45 seconds shorter depending on the version).

-Boyd is completely cut from the opening section now. I love the way he shadows Dave in 2006 versions. I know this has been discussed before, but it's still a bummer.

-I like the little mini reprise that Roi and Rashawn did in '06 a few times. Nice little touch.

All that mentioned, the song was 9/10 in 2006 and it's a 8.5/10 in 2009. I still love it. They need to finish this thing and drop a studio cut on us. It's well beyond that time, this song is alreay four years old. Get this one done DMB!

The Cville version is so awesome, the 09 versions just weren't even close to as powerful and as strong as the late 06 versions, plus I cant stand Tim's play on the 09 versions
