Yes sir.

I had UTTAD and BTCS as 10, Crash as a 9, Busted Stuff, AFTW, and BWGK as 7s. This one slides in perfectly as an 8.

Really though, it's a high 8. I absolutely adore this album.

How long will the voting be open for? I would like to listen to the album again tomorrow, before I respond.

Dodo, SDL, Trouble, Oh, the title song, Stay or Leave, Up and Away and Too High make it an 8 for me.

They should have ditched Grey Blue Eyes for Cigarette Lit and just had one Gravedigger, preferably the acoustic version. Baby and Save Me are not bad either. Little Thing I can take or leave.

Still the best album Matthews has been involved with in the past 20 years. I need to listen again before Autumn is over.

It's just a bonus track type thing. Album ends at Too High. It's not we would have gotten something else if it weren't there, we'd just have 1 fewer song.

I'm listening to the album again as we speak. Man, it's bringing back older good feelings and great memories. I'm up to "Stay or Leave" now and it's been such an enjoyable listen so far.

Agreed, and I really love the Dave solo Gravedigger. Might be in the minority, but I prefer it that way. A throwback to my show-going heyday of 2002.

I fully agree. I think track #14 is better than track #3, personally. 9.6.02 is the best live version as well.

In addition, I gave this album a solid 8 rating.

I voted 9, but it's probably more of an 8... there's too much I skip over now.

7.5 for me, so I gave it an 8 to round up. There are certainly some throwaway songs on this, but overall it's a fantastic first solo album from Dave, and the production is nice and cohesive across the album. I love the spacey ambiance that Tim and Trey provide on it. Dodo, SDL, Stay or Leave are instant classics and the second tier of Trouble, Save Me, Some Devil, Too High and Up and Away isn't too far behind. Unfortunately I've never been able to get into how DMB plays these songs, but can't deny how good they are.

I like the full band version too on SD, I just think the song's been ruined by the way DMB plays it and how it was overplayed, drilled into the ground and placed in bad spots in setlists. Solo is still best for the song, but I definitely don't mind it on the album.

I feel like Gravedigger should have been left Dave solo and it should be in the 3 spot. I like how Too High could have finished the album... maybe could have worked in a Gravedigger reprise at the end of Too High instead of a 2nd version of the same damned song.

Well, to be fair, the album does end with Too High, as that acoustic Gravedigger is a bonus track.

6. Grey Blue Eyes is actually a highlight for me, but the album just doesn't hold up well especially the songs played live as you realize how much better the album would have been with CB on drums.
