I love Celebrate for the dark almost industrial sound that it has going for it. Its probably not everyones cup of tea but I love it.

Would love to hear that one busted out on an album or live along with an evolved (not drum machined) Situation.

Celebrate is the song on this leak I keep coming back to.

Angry Dave is interesting.

Really can’t get into that one, ask or celebrate simply because of the drum machine, it just bothers the shit out of me

Quick question regarding the timing of all of this.

Justink, you said you and Kenny started discussing the possible artwork after the almanac posted the lyrics on Friday 10/12, the same day ants posted the news article.

The lyrics went up about 5 hours before the ants post at 6pm (so roughly 1PM EST) and were taken down at around 4PM EST on 10/12.

So do you stand by the fact that you guys had your discussion about the artwork after the almanac posted the lyrics, and Kenny got back to you around 10 minutes later with the image?

I've seen several people mention that this all went down over the course of the same day, 10/12, and people woke up to the link for the files that morning. Just trying to figure out the timing of how everything went down that day, because it seems a bit confusing. Your quote below for reference:

"Last Thursday/Friday? People noticed new songs and lyrics on the almanac and quickly cross referenced them to those discs that a lady was trying to sell on that Facebook group.

So Kenny and I were discussing about how iconic that art was that someone (Avi Sareen maybe?) made for the Lillywhite sessions. We started brainstorming about what a “Batson sessions” cover could look like. A few ideas were kinda dumb. But then I said “it could just be simple. Like the standup cover art but instead of black, make the field white. And instead of a chrome fire dancer, it could be a darker gun metal fire dancer.”

About ten minutes later I got a text from Kenny and it was this artwork. We both agreed it looked great. I sent it to someone saying “look, isn’t this cool looking?”"

I don't understand why any of this matters unless you're trying to corner an idiot into saying something incriminating - in which case, I look forward to seeing the results.

Yeah, why would anyone respond to this guy? No one who had anything to do with this leak posts on TDC or Ants, and no one who got the leak earlier than the average fan wants to potentially incriminate himself and/or become a scapegoat.

I haven't been paying attention to whatever's been going on here b/c, well, I just don't care. But I do love a good pile-on! So if that's the case, tell me who we're hating on and I"m in!

I mean, fork is right. But I'm not sure why he's posting this. Justin is obviously not going to tell the truth.

What's kind of interesting is who's alter Fork is...

He's not an alter, he's a regular poster at Ants, with the same handle.

A lot of times the origins of leaks/surfacings are just as interesting or even more interesting than the recordings themselves. This one didn't disappoint, this thread was a great way to get absolutely nothing done today

Had no idea those were out. Are they freely shared?

You can find them here: [Only registered users can see links.]

That final "Build You a House" snippet is really part of the Prelude to Grace.

Shame we never got the full Disc 2.

IIRC, it just seemed to have more bass. Comes down to personal preference.

I don't really remember, I'll have to download the originals to compare one of these days.
