this is probably my favorite all-time TDC thread. I love learning new and different types of music.

Yeah, Iím sorry, but my enjoyment of VH ends when Roth leaves. Iíve never been a fan of Hagar in or out of Van Halen. But hereís this:

^ that Merle Haggard sounds good

I'm taking a break from my album timeline I've been on for a Petty fix. This album was a pretty worthy successor to Wildflowers. Underrated at the time, by myself included.

It’s my favorite Hag album. Great all around.

Just going to keep riding the Scots post-punk train for another record.

Back to the albums of my youth. "Hungry Heart" was all the rage when I was in 5th or 6th grade and this album made me a Bruce fan. Led me to check out all his earlier ones.

I love Wildflowers so would the soundtrack to "She's The One" be a good follow-up listen?

I just picked up the 3-disc Greatest Hits comp for really cheap the other day just to have some of his stuff besides "Nebraska." I dunno, I just can't totally get into all of his stuff despite respecting him as a musician.

Funny, in listening to Ryan Adams' "Haunted House," I always sing "Tunnel of Love" along to it and it fits pretty well:

Ah, you’re right, the She’s the One soundtrack came before Echo, but Echo is better IMO.
