I really enjoyed that set 1 - one of my favorites of the ones I've seen. I've been wanting to hear Ship of Fools for a long time, so it was great getting that in set 2. Solid scarlet/fire, and a killer truckin' - crowd was buzzing for that. Overall a really good show.

The GPJ sit in was really great, especially that bertha and smokestack. I was a little let down by Sugaree just because Mayer knocks that out of the park when he has total control of the song (vocals and leading it musically with solos).

The night before I went to a show at the Howlin' Wolf and Oteil sat in on Eyes of the World with Ivan Neville, George Porter Jr, Papa Mali, Barry Sless, and Khris Royal on sax. I recorded it with my phone: [Only registered users can see links.]

I'm looking forward to this summer tour. If the Sunrise show was any indication, then this tour will easily be their best once they get the wheels going.

on the bright side, I've already seen it live twice with Dead & Co and I'm sure I"ll catch it this summer with my 7+ shows (atlanta, raleigh, hartford, citi x 2, boulder tour closers x2)

Im sure fans wouldn't mind waiting a extra 24hrs if the quality of the live boards improved.

the set 2 from the Trey show and both Chicago shows are top notch. Jeff Chimenti really filled out the sound in Chicago.

not the best show by any means, but there are highlights within, if you want to give a little listen. Jerry sings the shit out of Candyman, and a very good Half-Step.

Me and my wife (we were 18) had just met about a week or two before I went to this show, so now we've been together for over 30 years too. Wow, time flies.

It's just an innovative music library management system that integrates streaming services with your music files and *tries* to incorporate gate-folds, liner notes, etc to revamp the digital music experience to what it used to be like.

It's pretty cool. It'll also suggest new music based on your entire music library and what your listening to at the moment, through hyperlinks within credits (i.e. "Robert Hunter wrote this song with Jerry Garcia" clicking on the names will take you down other wormholes for other material written/performed/etc by those credited artists)

Its community driven, so many of these DaP releases have the full booklet scans that come with the CD set. Roon will go out and match your library to the best available album data available. Pretty cool.
