I thought the same thing. Then, I also thought 'I'm excited to see this lineup make a full album, then tour.'

Non-Album tour? Yes please. New album? I'll pass, only means weaker shows. Let's just start the nostalgia tours already and get down to it, because it could be soo good. Especially with Carter's age, the guy doesn't have thaaat much longer.

Once the crowds start dying to the point where they can’t fill amphitheater’s, I think they stop. But these guys like making new music. That won’t stop for a while I don’t think.

Depends what a nostalgia tour means. If it means just hits from 1993-2002, with repetitive setlists then no thanks. And when I think “nostalgia act”, I definitely don’t think about setlist variation, which is what I like most about DMB.

Even if they played the following setlist at every show next tour, I wouldn’t be happy because there would be no surprises and no reason to see multiple shows.

Ants Marching
What Would You Say
#41 >
Say Goodbye
Don’t Drink the Water
Satellite
Tripping Billies
Crash Into Me
Grey Street
Everyday
Crush
Stay
Lie In Our Graves
Warehouse
So Much To Say
Too Much
Rapunzel
————————-
The Space Between
Two Step

And that feels like what a nostalgia act version of DMB wouls play

That intro is indeed something else. Great version, love the salsa jam with Butch. A bit of a flat LeRoi solo though, I will say.

Certainly up there for me, but I'd give the edge to Recently.

It's a gem no doubt but I'd have to go with Recently as the most DMB-DMB song. Musical perfection to my ears.

I'm sure they still put on a great show (I've been to 3), but I don't have much interest in them without the woodwinds.
