Yeah, the bundle is a great idea by Apple. They should do well with that.

Not interested in iPads or Watches again right now. Looking forward to the next keynote for iPhones and HOPEFULLY the AirPod Studio headsets.

Yeah, my 8 is on its last legs. I’m almost ready to just pull the trigger on an 11, but I want to see if the 12 is worth waiting for.

I cracked the screen on my seven plus a few weeks ago and the battery is total shit. I’m just trying to make it to the finish line with elastics and duct tape at this point. Daddy needs a new device.

But, am I correct in that the originals rumors for this phone have proven not to be true and it isn’t going to be that great of an upgrade after all? No super chip or oled screen?

Yeah, 5G is not going to get me to pay that much of a premium.

I just updated to iOS 14, and it’s pretty underwhelming. Could be just the fact that I’m on an older phone, but there isn’t much to be excited about that I’ve found.

I do like the ability to watch video over the Home Screen, though. But that’s about it.

Does anyone have any opinions insight on the Apple Watch? My fitbit ionic is a piece of shit and now the battery lasts about 8 hours. I’m thinking if I tried I could get a new one from them, but I may just bite the bullet and jump to an apple watch. My daughter has a series 2 or 3, and she loves it. I basically just want an activity monitor and something for running, but think the iwatch seems to make a lot of sense.

I thought they were ridiculous when they first came out, bought one two years ago so I could control playlists while away from my phone, and now I love it.

The activity tracking is great, it always pushes me to get 10K steps in while letting me know if my activity trends are increasing or decreasing. I like that my phone notifications go there and that it gives me a quick look at my schedule, the weather, and when a chick’s matched with me on Hinge. Also great for playlist control and checking emails discreetly. I use it way, way more than I ever thought I would.

Edit: It’s also great for directions while cycling/running but not wanting to keep your phone always in front of you someplace. You open Google Maps or whatever you use and when you hit “go” your watch will display turn by turn directions. I always use it on my bike, it’s better than having my music constantly cutting out when I have to turn or merge or whatever.

This continues until there is a disseminated vaccine, currently 18 months from now.

If youíre just looking for a watch that monitors activity, I bought an Amazfit Bip last year and I love it. It doesnít have apps or play music, but itís a great activity tracker, has built-in GPS, displays alerts, and I only have to charge it maybe twice a month, depending on how much I use the GPS.
