I agree, unless it's an extended version of Satellite like the few we got in 2016. I'll take one of those versions every night.

I love Satellite, but it's one that looks bad and repetitive on paper and is really enjoyable live.

I’ve never minded Satellite. Heard it at my first show (12/8/00) and then not again until my 25th show (4/15/09)....but in 2009 got it 4x.

How the hell did you pull that off?

A nearly nine year gap without Satellite???

I had to check my Almanac stats after that. I've seen 42 shows b/w 1995-2016 and have seen Satellite 17 times. I would have guessed it was more like 35.

edit: I guess it makes sense now, considering I've seen a lot of multi-night stands.

Yeah, I think during the middle years (2000-2008) it wasn’t often played. Just in the last decade.

It was still played a ton every year but 2002, 2004, and 2005.

What do you get for hitting 100 DMB shows? A straightjacket?

I’ve seen Satellite 21 out of 65 shows. Longest gap was 7/5/03 to 5/30/06 (but only a four show gap at that, with one being 7/6/03, Alpine N2). Missed it in my two 2013 shows as well. Other than that, heard it every year.

I'm at 59 shows between DMB, D/T and Dave solo (took D/F off this list).

I have heard Satellite 21 times, my 9th most common song.

I missed it in 2013 despite attending 4 shows (Deer Creek, Alpine). I didn't see any D/T last year. Otherwise I've heard it at least once every year since 2006.

You get a 100 second hug from Boyd behind an Outback of his choice.
