Let me spell this out for everyone - It's the first time in the history of the space industry that someone has flown a rocket to space, turned it around, and landed it back on Earth!

We are one step closer to having trips back and forth to Mars.

Well, they explain in the video that since this was a test flight, they put in a mass simulator, and Elon chose his Tesla as it's just a fun thing to do. It's a great way to get exposure for both his companies and something cool to think about - an electric car exploring space, traveling to Mars.

Plus, Elon is a Hitchhiker's fan.
