This is my new favorite show (granted, there are tons I haven't listened to, but wow). Whole show is fantastic, esp. 1st set. This one I actually had to listen to again immediately after finishing the 1st time. I'm actually listening to set 1 again this morning for 3rd time.

I skipped 12/6 b/c of your comment about the mix, but I'll check it out anyway since you threw it in same boat as 12/7.

Next I wanna listen to the Hampton-Winston Salem shows from Nov 97.

12-7-97 is one of my fav first sets for sure, 12-6 is one of my top 5 all time Antelopes, the Tweezer>Izabella is obviously awesome.
You will love the Hampton-Winston Salem release, great 97 stuff as well

Nice, do it! 12/6 and 12/7 are the best two nights in a row they ever played. One of their pinnacles... maybe even their highest pinnacle

So, I've been listening to a ton of shows over the past couple of months. Just a couple random comments/questions. I've been jumping around, but all within '93-'98 still. In addition to the 97 and early 98 stuff I really like (12.7.97 still my fave), I actually seem to like '93 a lot, even more than the 94's and 95's I've listened to, at least to this point. 2/20, 5/8, 8/13 in '93 are all shows I really like.
Couple questions for recommendations: Going out beyond 93-98, either earlier or later, are there specific shows anyone recommends? What about over the last few years? I actually am meaning to check out the '89 and '91 (with horns) LivePhish volumes. (I was at the Feb. '03 Nassau Coliseum show here so I grabbed that one on LP; that's the only post-98 show I've heard).
Also, I really really dig their true segues, like those '93 and '94 Tweezer sets, and all the great segues on 12.7.97 is definitely one of the main reasons I love that show. So please recommend any great segues that come to mind.

Fuck, even when I try to keep it brief, I still wrote too much. Thanks

If you like 93, definitely check out LivePhish Vol 7, that is a top 3 show from those 20 Volumes. I don't have much experience with pre-93 Phish, Colorado 88 is better than that 89 LP IMO, 91 LP is must listen.

Other thoughts on LP releases, 12/14/95 is excellent, 8/13/96 is underrated, 11/17/97 is a great first set, 11/27/98 has great second set segue craziness you will love, 6/14/00 is spacy and tasty jamming, obviously all the Halloween releases and the Island Tour are must listens. 10/21(I originally put 6/20, I haven't actually listened to that one yet) and 11/14 are some of my favorite 95 stuff, I love 12/29/97, 10/7/00 is a good historic listen to the end of an era(even though sound quality is meh).

Post Hiatus(02-04) check out Alpine Valley 03 and especially 04, New Years Run 03 in Miami is good. Hampton 04 stands out in my mind too, and 2/26/03 is something I go back to quite a bit, one of my favorite Mazes of all time.
The Hampton 09 reunion shows are a good start to getting into Phish 3.0.
There are some other good 09 shows(I have the whole summer tour on my IPod) but nothing specific comes to mind. Festival 8 is darn good.
Since then I've listened to a lot of new Phish but I don't have any recommendations for you at the moment other than that I've heard a lot of good stuff and watched some of the webcasts, went to Alpine Valley 12, and they are playing better than in 09 for sure IMO.
That could keep you busy for a while.

Thanks Habbs... I've already listened to a bunch of your suggestions (LP7, Island Tour, etc.,, I fucking love the Tube from 12/29/97), but I'll check out some of your other suggestions

If anyone else has any other shows or cool segues to suggest, please fire in

I'll give some more picks when I'm not on my phone, but the acoustic set from Festy 8 is a must listen. Also Augusta & GuyUtica '10 Fall Tour are great.

Two really solid '11s that aren't gimmicky, just awesome shows:
6.4.11 Blossom
6.8.11 Darien

My favorite 3.0 show is 6.27.10 Columbia
