Yeah but a lot of "great" actors play the same character over and over. Many of the actors already listed in this thread fall into the same category. So I don't know why Denzel gets called on it.
I seem to remember this board also hating on John Lithgow, who is easily one of the most underrated actors out there. I can't think of one actor who's played so many differing roles in their career and he's performed them all to a T.
