Post-1994 Soundboards

Is there a list of what soundboards are in circulation after they were the source of pretty much every show in 1994? All I have are the Roseland shows.

In before the lock?

It was a very interesting thread.

patsfan39 01-15-2008 11:05 PM

Oh, thanks. Sorry if this is an off limits topic

maybe I'm wrong, I'm not a mod, but just discussing what exists probably isn't off limits.

That's a fair bet. I'm still shaky on my understanding of the IEM trading policy. As far as I know, they're in existence, but forbidden. :wtf

I read it as it was happening. Didn't even realize it was that long.

And my "IBTL" comment was a joke. I'm sure we can talk about it as long as no one's upping anything.

While we are talking about it, I don't see why we can't freely trade the post-95 SBDs, or at least the ones that were ripped from radio/TV broadcasts and webcasts. IEMs are a different animal, there's a privacy issue there which I totally understand.

That is a great read. For someone who was only got into trading in 02 it's great to hear stories like those and I can still only imagine the analog days.

I often wondered if many of those post '95 SBDs (Really the '00 SBDs) originally came from videos (IE: Someone taping the closed-circuit feed from say a sky box TV). Pretty sure the 7-12-00 SBD audio was out long before the video leaked and in both cases the encore was missing. It's very probable that the audio that circulated first was just ripped from that video....

Always hoped that was the case as that leaves hope for some other nice Pro-shot vids - for example MSG in Dec '00. Unfortunately none have surfaced....

I think you're right about the 7-12-00 SBD. I think the 1999 Gorge SBDs are straight up soundboards, but I'm note sure about the 2000 Shoreline SBD or the Virginia Beach SBD or the MSG SBD. My guess is they are.

I'm almost 100% positive a Pro-shot Shoreline video does exist (and I'm not talking about the Sinclair screenshot vid). The guys who had 7-12-00 originally at the time also claimed to have 8-2-00 but apparently were pissed 7-12 leaked in SVCD. Probably sitting in someone's closet somewhere....

8-2 would be cool I guess but the one I'd really like would be 12-13-00 w/ Haynes if the SBD SHNs actually did come from a video....

Anyway it's been almost six years and no luck so I've given up hope :)

Jack 01-16-2008 11:27 AM

shoreline is out in proshot. That is where the audio came from.

MSG came from an entirely different, totally random source. I don't know if she got it from a proshot video, but she gave it to me, and it spread it from there. It was someone who was no where near the community.

Yep. You are right. There is a pro-shot of Shoreline.

I didn't know that about the MSG show. Thanks for it.

What about the 2003 Sleep Train ASBD? (I'm at work so I can't check to see if I have a pro-shot or not).
