Since 8/20/08, just a day after Roi's passing, a few of us here at TDC started sifting through various performances of Roi's from over the years. Coming up with a compilation of his best work seemed a bit silly considering his work with DMB spans almost 2 decades, but at the same time NOT coming up with something seemed even more silly. After all, to so many of us, Roi really harnessed the essence of what pulled us in as fans so it only made sense to come up with something that defined our view of his contributions.

Within this 10 disc compilation we hope that these selected performances will shine a light on the positive aspect of Roi's time with this band. Of course, we couldn't make this compilation 20 discs, nor could we just leave it at 4 or 5. Around 50-60 performances (from Typical Situation 9/1/91 to his very last performance on Thank You from 6/28/08) were chosen out of the countless that could have been added but we felt these selected tracks represented a wide range of moods, colors, talent, maturity, and character.

Forever Moore compilation title - Jack

A big thank you goes out to Brian(dm40band), greppson and Crumbo for compiling the tracks that were selected and finishing this thing for everyone. Without them this wouldn't have gotten finished. :upyours

wow... that collage is cool.

krayz 08-18-2009 01:56 AM

I've been inspired. I'm going to try to make a larger one with just album and live trax art, so I can get a better resolution one for myself. I'll post it here when I get it done.

Maybe I'll do one for the rest of the band for kicks.

NiCK (Crush) 08-18-2009 01:57 AM
