One of my favorite singers put out 3 records last week. 1 is brand new the other 2 is new to streaming services.

All I can say is check him out. A Love Extreme (2008) is brilliant. He writes get pop melodies with interesting lyrics.

This is my favorite of the new stuff. If you're an Avett Bro's fan they've covered it. Cool song :upyours

There is no better songwriter in this current day than Jason Isbell. The new album is so damn good.

I found a new podcast for you music obsessives, and particularly the obsessives of a certain age. It’s called “Wind of Change,” and it’s an investigation by a New Yorker writer about the rumor that the song Wind of Change by Scorpions, the song that became the anthem of the end of the Cold War, was actually written by the CIA as part of the psy-ops campaign to destabilize the Soviet Bloc. It’s fascinating.

A bunch of Hip has been uploaded on dime the past week. I'm guessing about 60 tapes have been uploaded so far. They're going chronologically, from as far back as late 80s and today they're up to 1996. Some good radio broadcasts and soundboards. I miss Gordie.

Yeah, it's a damn shame he died.

RIP to Charlie Daniels

Bluewater34 07-06-2020 02:23 PM

Never much of a fan, but you can’t argue with that song.

Wildcats82 07-06-2020 04:21 PM

It is pretty much the only one I know

Beulah is one of the all-time most under-appreciated bands. Everything they did was fantastic and they’ve basically been completely forgotten about.

Wildcats82 07-08-2020 10:40 AM

not only is the Kentucky State Fair not cancelled, but they have a concert lineup announced!

P.O.D and Ginuwine are playing. Convince me not to go!

Hey, not only am I willing to die, but I will kill everyone I love to see POD play "Southtown" live!

not really....

Bluewater34 07-08-2020 12:37 PM

I mean, that was mostly just teasing. For me, seeing the name POD on a bill would be enough to keep me away.

Wildcats82 07-08-2020 12:43 PM

we are also getting the Oak Ridge Boys, Josh Turner, Riley Green, Zack Williams, Home Free, and JACKYL!!!!!!!!!!!

Wildcats82 07-10-2020 12:37 PM

How the fuck is this song 24 years old?

Bluewater34 07-10-2020 12:56 PM

Because we’re all old now.
